Free Lecture: Daniel Smith Artists Colors
Join us for a fun and interesting conversation with Scott Stevenson, Sales Representative and Brand Ambassador for DANIEL SMITH Manufacturing and Andrew Cook Art Director for Savoir Faire.
Have questions about Quinacridone pigments? Wonder where the color Serpentine comes from? How does the color Moonglow gets its name or how does DANIEL SMITH
test pigments for lightfastness? What’s granulation? This is a great opportunity to ask questions in a conversational and relaxed atmosphere.
The presentation will start off with the history of DANIEL SMITH Manufacturing and the many aspects of developing DANIEL SMITH products. You will see firsthand lab paint
outs, see and touch the minerals used to manufacture the colors in the PrimaTek line and more.
The finale…the exciting opportunity to sample a selection of our colors and put paint to paper!!!
Also, joining is Savoir-Faire Director of Education Andrew Cook. While enjoying the paint Andrew will be discussing Fabriano and how they have been making the world’s finest paper for more than 750 years! This a great opportunity to try a variety of papers from one of the world’s oldest paper mills!
Space will be limited. RSVP at the Capitola Store: 831-464-2700
