About Ann Henry

Ann Henry is a Santa Cruz-based abstract expressionist painter and emerging artist who discovered painting approximately three years ago. Over the past year she has developed a dedicated daily practice, working primarily in acrylics with palette knife and impasto techniques that reward close looking — each piece layering detail and texture that reveals itself gradually.

Before painting, Ann spent three years teaching wire jewelry and jewelry-making techniques at UC Davis Craft Center and through Cabrillo College Extension, where she learned to guide students through hands-on creative process with patience and encouragement.

She is now launching Ann Henry Design, a small business featuring her original artwork on a range of products, and is excited to bring her live painting experience to the Palace Arts community. She would love your support as she takes this next step.
