Join artist Kristen Brown for this demo that will show participants how to use Liquitex Glass Medium, to decorate a glass candle holder. Glass Medium is non-drip, ultra-durable, and allows you to personalize slick, non-porous surfaces like ceramics, glass, and porcelain. Mix with color to create a smooth, high-gloss finish that adheres to slick non-porous surfaces like glass. When heat set in an oven, it creates a glossy, scratch resistant surface.

MEET THE ARTIST: Kristen Brown

Kristen Brown is a San Francisco-based painter originally from Saskatchewan, Canada, and an artist for The Fine Art Collective. She has exhibited at the de Young Museum, San Francisco Arts Commission, Joyce Gordon Gallery, and CICA Museum in South Korea, among others. Kristen has received grants from the Canada Council for the Arts and the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation in Montreal. Kristen’s work has been featured in Fresh Paint Magazine (now Create Magazine), RELISH Magazine, Art Maze Magazine, and elsewhere. She holds a BFA in Studio Art from the University of Saskatchewan and an MFA in Painting from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
