From Sylvia Valentine: I’ve been a local award-winning Nature Photographer for over 15 years. My photos reflect what my heart connects with in the moment. I love capturing the Spirit of a place, experimenting with different angles and light to explore a unique perspective. I’m humbled to receive the 2023 CA Arts Council Fellowship Award, and voted Best Photographer over multiple years. On a 2008 trip to New Zealand I got the photography bug and I’ve enjoyed sharing my photos in Open Studios, galleries and gift stores ever since.
