These new art classes are for everyone — from beginners who want help getting started, to experienced artists looking to refine their work. Toaa teaches classical art-making skills, but also emphasizes creativity and exploration. Students can use whatever art media they prefer, including oils, acrylics, watercolor, pastel, pencil, and charcoal. It’s a great way for people to pursue art in a fun, friendly setting. Children will discover their inner artist while building self-confidence through fun and creative art activities. During the session, we will explore different art techniques: collage, drawing, painting, print making, and beyond using a variety of materials: pastels, crayons, watercolors, paint sticks, and more! Learn how to work with cyanotype! This alternative photograph process allows for unique printmaking using ultraviolet light. We will make cyanotypes on paper, fabric and your choice of either a bandana or dish towel. All items will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring along plants or found objects to include in your creations.
